Helping Hands Ministry

If you are experiencing a medical or life-threatening emergency, please call 911.

The mission of Helping Hand Ministry is to provide information and referral to a wide range of community, state, and federal services and resources. Individuals seeking this assistance are able to phone in to the Helping Hand Ministry voice mail at St. Monica Parish Community. If you would like to contact Helping Hands for assistance, please call (310) 566-1577.

Following intensive training and support, Helping Hand Ministry Volunteers commit one week out of every 5-6 weeks to answer the Helping Hand Ministry voice mail on a daily basis (once per day). Phone calls are returned within 24 hours, Monday through Friday only.

Types of information and referrals provided by Helping Hand Ministry Volunteers include:

- Social Service Agencies
- Mental Health Counseling Programs
- Medical Services
