Immense Talent and A Powerful Message in Les Misérables!
SMCHS saw record crowds in its weekend performances of Les Misérables, School Edition. SMCHS students prepared for months and their dedication paid off. This was truly a stunning performance with the caliber of work seen in professional productions. Students, teachers, and audience members said that this was one of THE BEST performances to ever come to St. Monica! Though the show has ended, we congratulate the cast and crew for a job well done. CIF CHAMPIONS!
The Lady Mariners basketball stormed back from an early deficit to defeat St. Paul 46-45 in the CIF-SS division 4 Championship game. With the victory, the Lady Mariners capture their first CIF title for the girls basketball program at St. Monica. Congratulations to the entire coaching staff and the Lady Mariners for a tremendous effort. We are proud of you ladies!

UPDATE: Senior Brianna Harris named CIF Player of the Year; Coach Skinner wins CIF Coach of the Year!
Congratulations to Senior Brianna Harris for being named the CIF-SS Division 4A player of the year in girls basketball. Brianna led the Mariners this year in scoring and became St. Monica's all-time leading scorer in girls basketball. Coach Skinner, who led the Lady Mariners to their first CIF Championship in school history, was named CIF-SS Division 4A coach of the year!
