Sacristans

The Sacristans work together to take care of the details of preparing behind the scenes for each Liturgy at St. Monica. They work in the sacristy to set up for Mass, which includes putting out the sacred vessels, organizing the liturgical books and seeing to the proper amount of bread and wine to prepare for the Liturgy. After the Mass, they make sure the sacristy is cleaned up and in good order. They work under the direction of Fran Curry, head sacristan. Each Liturgy at St. Monica is assigned a sacristan.
