Phoenix Ministry

Are you struggling with a separation, divorce, or annulment?

Phoenix Ministry is a peer support group for those men and women experiencing a separation, divorce or annulment. In a confidential, small group format ,led by a facilitator participants are free to share about the many challenges faced at the time of the dissolution of a marital relationship.

Sessions are held in the fall and winter/spring. Over a twelve-week period, participants will review a variety of topics including:

  • You Are Not Alone
  • Stress and Anxiety
  • Denial, Guilt and Blame
  • Depression and Shame
  • Anger and Anger Management
  • God, Church and Me
  • Forgiveness
  • Healing

Meetings are held on Wednesday evenings in the St. Monica Spirituality Center from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Those interested may drop in at any time. There is a donation of $48 for the 12 week period.

Scholarships are available. Do not let the fee keep you from joining us.

Our facilitators are men and women who have had the experience themselves of working through a separation or divorce. Our Phoenix Ministry team also includes Delis G. Alejandro, Pastoral Associate and Michael DiPaolo, a clinical psychologist in private practice. We welcome volunteers.
