Congrats to our 2010 Senior Class Graduates of St. Monica Catholic High School! Summertime! This weekend is Holy Trinity Sunday – the Sunday where we really, in some kind of human way, begin our summer. The theology of the Trinity can be pretty complex stuff, but what stands out to me is that this weekend is about a continuation of our relating with a dynamic, triune God. It is a time where we begin again, and continue, for the rest of our lives, to discover, talk with, and experience God in a myriad of ways. Summer provides us with the graces of a different tempo, pace, and freedom to do the things that calm our spirit, take us away from our routines, and return us into the fold of our families, prayer, playfulness, and reflection. This is my wish for you, as we enter summer through the doorway of Holy Trinity Sunday. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. God bless you,
