Hope at the Door

St. Monica provides a one-stop, one-time response to acute critical needs with its outreach program, Hope at the Door.

The goals of Hope at the Door are to...

• Respond as best we can to the critical needs (food, shelter, medical, transportation) of those who come to us for help, including members of the St. Monica Catholic Community, and when possible, members of the broader community.
• Help those in a stressful period to develop a plan, a path to transition to a better life.
• When applicable, connect people with organizations that can help them find jobs, transitional housing and other needed services.

Hope at the Door is not a social service agency itself, and cannot provide ongoing support services. However, we will make every effort to connect you with any agencies or organizations that might benefit you. Download Additional Information...

If you are interested in participating in Hope at the Door, please call (310) 566-1500 or come to the Parish Office during business hours. The reception staff will connect you with an intake coordinator, who will schedule you for an appointment.
